A woman faces a drunk driving charge after she apparently confused the Van Buren County Jail parking lot with the parking lot of a bar.

Just after 2 a.m. Sunday, a deputy saw a vehicle backing up in the jail parking lot where the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office cruisers are parked when not in use. The woman driving was trying to convince her boyfriend to get back in the car, the sheriff’s office said.
