A man was in critical condition after he lay down underneath a disabled car at a gas station early Thursday in San Francisco’s Richmond District and ended up being pinned by the vehicle, whose driver was allegedly drunk, police said.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was loitering at the Chevron gas station at 24th Avenue and Geary Boulevard about 3:30 a.m. when he encountered two men in an Acura who had pulled into the parking lot to deal with a flat tire, police said.
