Casino sued over drunk driving accident

The father of a man who died in a drunk-driving crash is suing the Rivers Casino for allowing his son to drink too much.

Settimio Cresta filed the complaint in Common Pleas Court on Tuesday. His son, Gianluca Cresta, 41, was killed Sept. 30, 2012. The complaint alleges that Gianluca Cresta arrived at the Rivers about 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, 2012, and remained there until 1 a.m., and that he continued to be served several vodka drinks despite being “visibly intoxicated.”
