Former NBA forward Clifford Robinson was recently arrested for DWI and Leandra’s Law violations. In a statement made by police officials, Robinson was attempting to merge into traffic when he was stopped for failing to use the properly designated lane. Upon inspection of the vehicle and Robinson, in addition to being intoxicated Robinson also had a suspended New York identification card and a suspended New Jersey driver’s license. He would refuse a breathalyzer test and was arrested on the spot.
At 47 years of age, Robinson last saw action in the NBA with the (at the time) New Jersey Nets during the 2006-07 season.
