Councilman pleads not guilty following drunk driving, drug possession arrest

FLINT — Flint City Councilmember Eric Mays pled not guilty Friday afternoon in connection with a November arrest for drunken driving and drug possession.

 

Mays is accused of operating a vehicle under the influence after attending a holiday party, and then driving on four flat tires going the wrong way on I-475 back on November 30th. He has been charged with four misdemeanors: possession of marijuana, operating while intoxicated, no proof of insurance and refusal to be fingerprinted.
