Cowboys: Brent could return after fatal drunk-driving crash

Josh Brent could return to the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys, once he’s released from jail for a drunk-driving accident that killed his friend and teammate.

At a team-sponsored charity golf tournament on Tuesday, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones said the team would consider bringing back Brent, who was convicted of intoxicated manslaughter and sentenced in January to 180 days in jail and 10 years probation for the December 2012 crash that left linebacker Jerry Brown dead.
