CT expands law to combat drunk driving

Connecticut is getting tough on those who drink and drive.

A new law, which passed last year, expands the use of interlock devices to include first-time offenders.

Interlock devices are for the driver to breathe into before starting their car to check their blood alcohol levels.

They have shown to help reduce drunk driving, but there are some things that could make it better.
