Drinking and driving costly for two men

The day after he finished serving a conditional sentence for impaired driving Elliot Lake police nabbed Christopher Kirk behind the wheel after he left a bar.

 

The 30-year-old Sudbury man was a prohibited driver and had been drinking alcohol, Ontario Court Justice Melanie Dunn heard Tuesday when he appeared in a Sault Ste. Marie courtroom.

 

Kirk pleaded guilty to impaired driving and driving while disqualified in connection with the incident which occurred in the early morning hours Sunday.
