Drunk driver causes three car crash

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WISH) – A drunk driver who police say tested five times the legal limit was arrested after causing a three-vehicle crash this weekend.

Officers responded to the crash around 6 p.m. Sunday on State Road 46 near Old Riley Road.

Preliminary information says a white van was heading eastbound on SR 46 approaching two cars that were stopped to turn into the Maryland Community Church.

The van, driven by 42-year-old Janeen Sackett, failed to slow down or stop and hit a Chevrolet S 10 in the rear. The Chevrolet was then pushed into the back of a Dodge Neon.
