Drunk driving charge against man picking up kids from school

A Pictou County man was arrested for impaired driving after he was caught driving 150 kilometres per hour while on his way to pick up his children from school on Friday, according to Nova Scotia RCMP.

 

Officers stopped a 47-year-old man driving more than 150 kilometres per hour on Highway 104 near Linacy, east of New Glasgow. Cpl. Mark Kellock said the speed limit in the area is 100 kilometres per hour.
