A habitual drunk driver who was intoxicated once again when he hit and killed a Cincinnati Country Day School teacher earlier this year was sentenced to 9 1/2 years Thursday in Clermont County Common Pleas Court.
Judge Jerry R. McBride sentenced Todd Shaw, 51, to 9 1/2 years in prison. He also gave Shaw a lifetime ban on his driver’s license and put him on a mandatory three-year post-release control when he is released from prison. It was the maximum sentence and was requested by the Clermont County Prosecutor’s office.
