A 62-year-old Santa Cruz man was arrested on suspicion of DUI Tuesday after he crashed a minivan and left its back end hanging off a Branciforte Creek bridge.

Shortly before noon, Andrew Charles Herb was driving a Mazda MPV north on Branciforte Drive near Mill Road when he lost control and struck the guardrail of the bridge, said California Highway Patrol officer Brad Sadek.
