DUI suspect in Georgia jail tested negative for Ebola after developing fever: report

A feverish inmate at a Georgia jail has tested negative for Ebola after being arrested on DUI charges.

The unidentified inmate is negative for the deadly virus after telling officials at the Cobb County Jail that he recently travelled to Africa, according to WAGA-TV.

The jail was on lockdown and stopped accepting new inmates Friday as crews sanitize the areas where the inmate had been, the Marietta Daily Journal reported.
