A 21-year-old Lake Echo, N.S., woman faces years in prison for an impaired driving conviction after a fatal crash that killed a 55-year-old man near Lawrencetown Beach last year.

Kyla MacLellan pleaded guilty April 7 to impaired driving causing death and impaired driving causing bodily harm. On Wednesday, she appeared in court for sentencing.

“I take full responsibility,” she told the court as she cried.
