A Lancaster man who ran out of gas on South Transit Road early Tuesday morning was charged with DWI after sheriff’s deputies investigated.

A deputy said he was called to the area about 2:30 a.m. for a report of a car stopped in the driving lane of South Transit, in front of Consumers Beverages.
