Man arrested for DUI for 12th time; lawmakers may toughen laws against repeat offenders

A transient man was arrested Tuesday and is facing his 12th DUI charge.

The Longmont Times-Call reports Dan Brooks, 49, received his first DUI in 1986.

Officers say they saw Brooks drinking inside his truck and stopped him when he began driving. He then failed a field sobriety test.
