Moore charged with DUI: State police arrest W.Va. delegate in McDowell

State Police conducting a road patrol on U.S. Route 52 early Saturday morning arrested a member of the West Virginia House of Delegates on a charge of driving under the influence of alcohol.

 

State Delegate Clifton “Clif” Moore, D-McDowell, was arrested after Senior Trooper B. D. Gillespie observed Moore’s vehicle swerving “left and right and crossing the centerline of the roadway on several occasions,” according to Gillespie’s incident report of the arrest.
