Farmington now has a local “super drunk” ordinance on the books and is adding new rules governing second-hand shops, pawn shops and precious metal/gem dealers.

The “super drunk” ordinance, recently approved unanimously by city council members, allows the city to directly enforce a law imposing penalties on highly intoxicated drivers and keep the collected fines.
