A 37-year-old man faces drunken driving charges after state police found him sleeping in a closet at a western New York highway rest area with his car parked on the highway median.

Troopers in Cattaraugus County said Sunday that they followed footprints in the snow from a vehicle on the median of Interstate 86 to the Allegany rest area. There, they found Trevor Jimerson of nearby Steamburg sleeping in a closet.
