Ontario County still first in DWI convictions

Once again, Ontario, Wayne, Yates and Seneca counties are in the top 10 for DWI conviction rates in the state, with Ontario topping the list for the 29th time in the last 30 years.


The state list for 2013 was recently released by the Department of Motor Vehicles, with Ontario’s 95.99 conviction rate being the highest in state history. The county had 431 DWI convictions and 18 convictions on the lesser charge of driving while ability impaired.
