Pennsylvania DUI penalties for repeat offenders

The law’s focus, especially on first-time offenders, is education and treatment as opposed to punishment.

November 20, 2013 /24-7 Press Release/ — In 2003, the state of Pennsylvania changed the laws governing penalties for drunk driving. The new laws reduced the legally allowable blood alcohol content from .10 to .08 percent and implemented a tiered structure for all consequences based upon a driver’s BAC and the number of prior offenses he or she may have on record.
