A drunk driver killed one pedestrian and injured another Saturday evening in Yarmouth’s second fatal alcohol-related car crash in 24 hours, police say. Kevin Regan, 62, of Westfield, was pronounced dead at Cape Cod Hospital shortly after a pedestrian crash Saturday night.

A South Yarmouth man, Paul G. Dennehy, 55, faces drunk driving and motor vehicle homicide charges in the deadly incident. Dennehy allegedly struck two pedestrians on Route 28 just before midnight, killing Regan and seriously injuring the woman he was with: Lynda Cavanaugh, 62, also of Westfield.
