Sheriff: Use DUI video tactics, risk being arrested for obstruction

A video of a Florida DUI checkpoint has gone viral, and the people behind it claim it’s proof drivers can legally make their way through, without opening their windows, as long as they display the required identification.

But, one Tampa Bay area sheriff’s office says not so fast.

The video was shot New Year’s Eve at a DUI checkpoint in Levy County. The driver displays a flier that reads “I remain silent, no searches, I want my lawyer.”
