A Virginia State Trooper received assistance from the Waynesboro Police Department Saturday evening when making an arrest of an alleged drunk driver.

State Trooper Stephen Nicely was traveling in the right lane on Interstate 64 ready to turn off at Exit 96 when he looked in his rear view mirror and saw a car slam on its brakes.
