Toms River driver facing new DWI charge after driving with license suspended for previous DWI, cops say

A man thrown from his car when it crashed and overturned on the Garden State Parkway early Monday was charged with being under the influence of a narcotic and driving with a license that was suspended for a previous DWI, said State Police Trooper Jeff Flynn.

Richard Dziadosz, 49 of Toms River, was ejected from his vehicle at milepost 88.3 on the GSP northbound about 5:30 a.m. Monday, authorities said. Dziadosz left his lane of travel, overturned and was ejected, landing in the woods, Williams said. A second car — a Ford Taurus — was also involved, but the driver, Michael Drake, 49 of Berkeley, was not injured.
