Two DWI arrests stem from one traffic stop in Glens Falls

State Police arrested a husband and wife on driving while intoxicated charges early Saturday after the husband was stopped for suspected DWI and the wife pulled up behind him as troopers investigated, authorities said.

 

Michael D. Panken, 55, of Quade Street, Glens Falls was stopped at 1:06 a.m. after troopers saw him driving erratically on Sherman Avenue and confronted him after he went through a stop sign without stopping and hit a snowbank pulling into a driveway of his home at 43 Quade, according to State Police.
