Victim advocates worry about delays in DWI cases

A Hendersonville man is facing three impaired driving charges racked up over a three-month period in three counties. His latest charge came on the heels of a head-on collision that sent one of his passengers and another driver to the hospital.

The incidents have incited a MADD volunteer to advocate for speedier outcomes for cases that are now mired in a backlog of blood tests in the state’s crime lab.
