Woman charged with assault, DWI pleads not guilty

Of the 158 calls the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary said they responded to between Friday and Saturday morning, three of them were for suspected drunk driving.

 

At 2:50 a.m. Saturday, police stopped a vehicle in downtown St. John’s. As a result, officers charged the 54-year-old male driver with impaired driving and failing the breathalyzer.
