Fair Lawn – A woman who had to be forcibly removed from her car is facing a multitude of charges including assaulting an officer and driving while intoxicated.
On Dec. 18 at 2:19 p.m., the department received word about a hit-and-run on Route 208. The vehicle involved exited the highway onto Fair Lawn Avenue. Sgt. Lonnie Mergler found the vehicle, a 2011 Nissan Rogue, in front of the police headquarters on Fair Lawn Avenue.
The driver, who was later identified as driven by Ana Cifaldi, 44, of Old Tappan, was ordered to pull over to the curb.
