Police arrested a Darien teenager Wednesday morning for drunk driving after he was found at a gas station in a car that was missing a tire and sitting on a rim.

Officers said that David Christian Bognar, 19, of Old King’s Highway North, appeared incoherent and intoxicated when they found him parked next to an air pump. A caller told police that Bognar was driving with the missing tire, with the front rim exposed. Officers later learned that Bognar hit a nearby utility pole and left the scene.
